What you'll do

Welcome to this online sushi making lesson! I will be connected to you online from my kitchen in Tokyo and we will make sushi together. No worries, I don’t use ingredients which are hard to find but in this class, I am using ingredients which are easy to find even if you are outside Japan.

After an hour experience, you will understand how to get the rice on the outside of inside out rolls and also make mini sushi balls.

In first half time, I will talk about ingredients, prepare sushi rice and fillings. Once we are finished preparation then we will move on to rolls. During the class, I will be able to answer any questions.

Great for groups, great for team-building!

RULES OF THE EXPERIENCE
If you book the experience for one person, just one person can make the roll otherwise I cannot check how all guests are doing and it’s confusing. If you all want to enjoy the full experience please book a spot for each person.

Mai's class was very easy to follow, instructive, and helpful! She was super friendly and knowledgeable. I am a vegan and I was easily able to substitute out ingredients to make vegan sushi and follow along without feeling like I was missing out on the experience.

Really fun experience and great sushi! Mai was very helpful and went into her background and got to know us before we started learning the craft of sushi making. It was a great time!

Excellent, easy lesson for basic sushi making. Was the perfect intro to make your own sushi making. Mai was sweet and insightful. Her instructions were clear and she was helpful throughout the class.

What a fantastic sushi making lesson! My sushi turned out perfectly thanks to Mai’s detailed instructions. The rolls turned out just like something I’d order at a sushi restaurant!! I couldn’t believe I could make something so well. I also love that Mai chooses ingredients for this class that are easy to find anywhere (for example, smoked salmon instead of raw salmon). I made another roll after the class, and it turned out just as well~. I showed my family and they were quite impressed! I’m ready to start experimenting with other flavors on my own!

Amazing experience. Mai was so kind and helpful. Her instruction was clear and easy to follow. We had an 8 and 13 year old who did it along with our help and it was perfect as a family activity.
