What you'll do
We will meet at French Landing on the shore of the beautiful St. John River. This river is home to many species of wildlife including manatees, deer, eagles and other water birds, turtles, fish and more.
After a safety lesson on land we will launch on our paddleboards or kayaks and explore the river to the opening of Blue Spring. From May to November, we will be able to paddle all the way to the spring head and observe where the water flows from a cave below to feed the spring and river.
From November to May, we explore the river and sit by the entrance to the spring where hundreds of manatees congregate for the winter. We call it the Manatee Show. Mothers with babies, young manatees and older manatees all call Blue Spring home in the winter months.
This adventure shows Florida at her finest. The river is lined with ancient cypress trees other native plants.
Other things to note
There is not a restroom at our launch location. Please make sure you stop along the way. Please wear flip flops or water shoes. You will take them off on the paddleboards but you will want to wear them on shore.

My name is Jenny and I own Lake Life Paddle in Orlando, Florida with my partner Richard. We have multiple 5 star rated experiences with Airbnb including Paddleboarding in Paradise and Ponies and Paddleboarding. We absolutely love sharing the beautiful waterways of Central Florida with new friends...we have never met a stranger. We have taught thousands of people the sport of paddleboarding and we love taking both paddleboarders and kayakers on our tours.
Where you'll be
We launch on the beautiful St. Johns river on our paddleboards or kayaks. We regularly see deer, manatees and other wildlife on this natural Florida adventure. The scenery is truly beautiful and we take a lot of pictures for you to have as memories. This waterway is lined with old cypress trees and native flowers.
