What you'll do

Welcome to zen eating session.
I truly believe eating mindfully promotes your happiness by clicks your mind to appreciate everything that surrounds you.
You can be happy with that appreciation right then.

I will take you on a 1-hour journey of eating meditation that brings you peaceful and joyful energy.

My session with you is structured in three parts.

First, we will meet online and chat via Zoom. Then this experience begins with getting in touch with the philosophy of zen knowing how to eat mindfully to make the later part more comfortable for you.
I will guide you to induce relaxation through simple exercise and breathing techniques.

Next, we start eating in a calm and relaxed state with my guide for 20-25min.
Eating is one of the practices in Buddism. I extract the essence of Buddhist teachings.
You may feel the connection with people, food and nature. We’ll explore the peace world while eating with full of joy.
Eating together in calm will leave you feeling more grounded.

Finally, we take a moment to share what we feel together. Sharing your mind, thought and feeling is helpful for you to clear your mind and have a positive feeling.

*You may join with your own meal or snacks (anything to eat is fine but you may feel more comfortable if you bring something healthy).

    Download Zoom for free on a desktop or mobile device. After you book, you’ll receive an email with a link and details on how to join.
  • Book a private group
    Momo can host private groups of any size, up to 100 guests. Private group rates start at $76.

What to bring

  • Your meal or snacks to join mindful eating session (anything to eat is fine but you may feel more comfortable if you bring something healthy like a bread or salad or healthy snacks! Quantity: We eat 6-10 bites together)

Momo's calm and gentle presence will get you into a meditative mood almost immediately - she guided me step-by-step through the process of eating. The sensations you get when you do everything slowly does feel quite startling at first, but as I became aware of all the little details Momo pointed out, like the way you breathe when you swallow, the salivation that occurs after food is swallowed, I really began enjoying the food I was consuming more and more. This is a great way to be reminded of the little things in life, and it helped me see how I could bring in meditation at dinnertime. I highly recommend this.

This experience will change how you approach every meal! Momo has a warm and refreshing energy. Momo answered my questions not with some complex knowledge but with her own experiences when she practices Zen eating, which makes me feel more connected. What a lovely experience to notice that I can honor eating the way I eat my food in the same way I honor it by prepping and cooking it. Momo made the event so special from the very first question, asking why we chose the food we had. We were a small group, but she connected with each of us personally and in that hour helped me feel at home. Highly recommend this experience for anyone interested in expanding self-awareness, connecting to our body, and the items we use to nourish it.
