What you'll do

Our life philosophy is EAT ANYTHING, ANYWHERE. We like eating some of the best foods, in odd places. We will meet on the docks of East Boston where we will tear into and slurp dozens of local oysters, harvested by our oyster farmer friends, while looking over the harbor and skyline. You will learn how to properly shuck an oyster and will go home with a shucking knife of your own. The memories will be in the details. We will set up in "flash-mob" "pop-up" style along the water. Expect the unexpected.

I am a native Bostonian with a passion for shucking oysters anywhere and everywhere. Here in East Boston I am the founder of a "secret supper club" where we work closely with oyster farmers and chefs. We like to throw parties and experiences in obscure places. You can call me the queen of mystery. I like making delicacies like oysters, and caviar, more approachable. It's kind of my mission! I have lived here my entire life and also used to be a hotel concierge so I am more than happy to provide you with a list of other "must-do, must-see + must eat's" here in Boston.

I had shucked oysters before, but I had always been hesitant - Alexis explained it so well that I am now a confident and fast shucker. Great for locals or visitors!

Great experience in a beautiful location on the Eastie docks. I was always intimidated to shuck oysters on my own but now I could do it anywhere, anytime (with the appropriate tools of course). Alexis gave a quick and easy demo but the bulk of time was spent shuckin and slurpin a dozen oysters each, no BS. Masks are worn (when not slurping) and hand sanitizer is provided (along with snacks and a delicious, local mignonette sauce). We each received our own shucking knife to take home as well so there’s no excuse why you can’t do this yourself after learning from the best! Alexis has a passion for oysters and wants to share it, I highly recommend this class.

This was such a fun and uniquely Boston experience. Alexis was an awesome host and really made us feel welcome. My parents were up visiting and while they love oysters had never shucked one. Alexis was a great teacher and they learned quickly! The view of the city from East Boston was gorgeous and it felt like such a special experience even after living here for a few years. Would 100% recommend!

This is a must do if you come to Boston! Nothing more unique and local, while also getting the best views of the city. Alexis really makes you feel at home and ensures you’re enjoying yourself the entire time. I brought 4 friends who have never shucked an oyster in their life and we’re all loving it and able to do it over and over again!
