What you'll do
If your body is in need of a release, this experience is for you!
I’ll walk you through trigger point therapy, which is useful for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain. Focusing on myofascial release, our session will relax contracted muscles, improve blood, oxygen, and lymphatic circulation. We’ll also stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles. Interestingly, there are many small muscles that affect your daily life. What's unique about trigger point therapy is that you can apply it for pain that you’ve had for years. It can help with arthritis, joint pain, headaches, tooth pain, and even the quality of your vision. The experience will be adjusted to individual or group needs. I'll explain the importance and benefits of this therapy, how it works, and where the pain is coming from.
To release the trigger points, we’ll use different sizes of balls. E.g., a golf ball, tennis ball, lacrosse ball, softball, or baseball. We’ll also use a foam roller. Don’t worry if you don’t have some of this equipment, you can always use household items or your hands.
Last but not least, you’ll gain valuable knowledge that you can use in the future to easily relieve any kind of pain.
This Experience is great for team-building. Book a private experience for your group. Is your group larger than my listed max group size for private groups? Send me a message.

I'm an Olympic pole vaulter and finalist in the 2016 Rio Games. I'm currently actively training for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
I’ve learned yoga, meditation, and yoga philosophy from Yoga master Vladimir Kalabin, Buddhist monks, and image medicine master Xu Mingtan at Shaolin temple. I've been practicing it for over 10 years.
I've been studying and practicing trigger point and myofascial release techniques for several years through my athletic career.
I'm also a martial arts expert and one of two certified instructors of the Warfare Combat system in the U.S.
From these non-traditional approaches, I know how to sync with the body and the power around and within us, and I can help you incorporate these lessons into your life.

This was such a fun experience! I workout very often and due to Covid have not been able to get massages like I used to. This session helped relive muscle strain and relax my body. Pauls also made the session personalized based on issues we were having. I would highly recommend this experience!

I had a great experience doing Trigger Point Therapy with Pauls! He was both friendly and knowledgeable, making a point to give specific, individualized guidance to both my friend and I. I walked away feeling physically lighter, and with new awareness for how to care for my body!

Kind, warm and receptive to all of the participants, Pauls' experience was easy to follow and very accessible. The steps were simple and easy to understand but had a noticeable change on my body. I will definitely consider doing something in the future with him!

Pauls was fantastic! He is both very knowledgeable and approachable. Learned quite a lot about how to relax trigger points on my hand, wrist, and shoulder areas. This is where I have strain due to computer work. Pauls was patient and informative. He also incorporates breathing, attention, and visualization. This is a taste of much more he offers through his experience as an Olympic pole vaulter, where lower and upper body strength plus focus, courage, and perseverance are needed again and again to reach championship levels.

This was a terrific gift to myself for my birthday. I’m determined to start a new fitness regimen and Pauls provided a personalized series of activities for me that already feel beneficial. After I briefly described the physical kinks I was hoping to address, he very efficiently got me right to work, always with an encouraging, understanding voice. He is super friendly, has a good sense of humor and best of all has a ton of knowledge and experience to share. As a professional dancer I found his approach refreshing. It has the rigor one would expect of someone as skilled as an Olympian, coupled with depth, sensitivity and a clear passion for helping others, regardless of experience. He was incredibly generous with his time, as well, making sure we touched on the issues I had raised at the beginning of our session. He even gave some tips on making a great, healthy wake-up beverage that I can’t wait to try. Seriously, I recommend Pauls highly, and look forward to seeking his expertise again!

I booked the Trigger Point Therapy as a birthday gift for my Dad, who suffers from arthritis. It turned into a great opportunity for us to connect in a unique and fun way, with me in Australia and my parents in the US. Pauls catered the session to my Dad's needs, starting the therapy with the feet, an area of concern for my Dad. We all followed along, working up a bit of sweat along the way. My parents didn't have a foam roller on hand so Pauls shared some alternative ways to do the exercises using a chair. We learned a lot about trigger points and other healthy lifestyle changes while having a fun, active time together.
