What you'll do

Our humans & dogs story begins at The Plaza hotel located at 59th Street & Fifth Avenue. Exact meeting location is in front of the Pulitzer Fountain across the street.

Once inside the park, time to show-off the park's treasures including Gapstow Bridge, Wollman's Rink, Sheep Meadow, The Mall, Bethesda Terrace, The Ramble, Bow Bridge, Cherry Hill, Strawberry Fields AND of course Balto the Park's famous dog! Southern half of the park highlights Upper West Side, Midtown, & Upper East Side neighborhoods.

Flow of this walk includes brief stop n sniffs and strolling. Combination of flat paths with some hills. Licensed NYC guide, Jennifer's training also includes professional storytelling and park training. Tour combines history, nature, & togetherness.

New York weather can be tricky in any season. In situations of high wind gusts or heavy rains, Jennifer will refer to weather and contact all guests. If cancelled, guests may reschedule with Jennifer or be fully refunded.

2-hour tour ends at Strawberry Fields located on Upper West Side's 72nd Street & Central Park West. Favorite dog park nearby 5 minutes from end point. Please contact Jen if preferred time or date is not available. Will try to work with your schedule.

Looking to adopt a rescue? Jennifer supports UWS organization. Contact Jen in advance.
Other things to note
With a limit of 8 humans + doggy companions, Jennifer will assume all dogs are healthy & park friendly.
Once booking is placed, guests will receive auto-welcome requesting the name of their dog companion (if any).

Fantastic experience. In Manhattan with daughter for a little break during midterms. I drove 12+H with family dog to give her some “dog therapy”. so happy we could find an experience with our Bette Davis. Jennifer very knowledgeable & loves history. We experienced some very special parts of this amazing park. She brought water & treats for our pup! Please support the local tours.

Jennifer was an absolutely wonderful host, she is so very knowledgeable about Central Park and combines that knowledge with her personal stories and experiences of the park. It’s was an absolute pleasure to have her guide us and our dog through the park, it really gave us a completely different perspective of NYC. We can absolutely recommend this tour. She even brought water and treats along for our dog, just fabulous!
