What you'll do
Be transported from the comfort of your home to the tropics and feel the Miamian-Cuban spirit while we learn about the drink that starts with one my favorite ingredients, the "guarapo." We will make two drinks. First we will make a Cuba Libre. While we sip on our Cuba Libre together, we will get to know one another, and then move onto the mojito, and I will show you step by the step how to prepare the perfect one. Despite having few ingredients and sunny, tropical-Miami vibes, mojitos require a sequence of precise steps. In a drink with so few components, if you do the steps wrong, you’ll taste every off flavor. I won't let you down, no teeth crunching on sugar crystals or over-muddling your mint. Be transported to sunny Miami while sipping on refreshing cocktails and learn the culinary, cultural and historical background of each of the ingredients. What I learned at the in-person Airbnb experience I conducted is that everyone loved the mojito demo part of the tour. Even in an era when articles, reviews, videos and blogs are everywhere, people still crave to connect with live storytellers who can lead you on a journey despite our separation. If you want a private experience with friends, family or as a team-building activity, I can host you on a day and time that works for your group, send me a message! I will also be happy to answer any questions about Miami!

I am a recognized culinary & culture connoisseur from Miami. I am part of the judge panel at one of Miami's most prestigious culinary yearly event. I developed for the Travel Channel a list of the best places to visit, eat and drink and was featured on their "Miami Street Food” episode as a Miami food expert. In addition, I took one of my favorite Food Network stars and show her where to find authentic Cuban comfort food. My tours and expertise have been featured in TV shows and publications such as CNN Travel, National Geographic, Forbes, Miami Herald and Conde Nast Traveler to name a few. Until the quarantine, my team and I were conducting the highest rated Airbnb experience in Miami called The Original Little Havana Experience: https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/15409
