What you'll do
You can easily make udon noodles that are more delicious than you expected.
You will be surprised by both tasty and chewy texture beyond your imagination.
Any special technique and any professional tools are not needed for udon making.
If you can weigh each ingredient, that is enough.
You'll learn each step that goes into making the region’s delicious udon by hand and foot as well as how to make rich flavored udon soup in this class.
We change the menu depending on the season such as Cold udon and dipping sauce from May to September, and Hot udon and hot soup from October to April.
I am sure that you can be a master of not only udon making but also Japanese soup-making after this class.
Udon making is not only "great for groups" but also "great for team-building" because all members can share an enjoyable time together.
Feel free to contact me for a new date anytime.
The general steps are following,
1) Make the udon dough
2) Make udon soup (or dipping sauce)
3) Roll out the udon dough and cut it
In the end, I'll explain to you how to boil udon, how to finish it, and how to eat it, sharing the screen.
I'll send you the recipe jpg immediately after class so that you can cook udon smoothly.
This experience is friendly to vegan, Muslim, and all generations.
Other things to note
PC is recommended.
Please understand that one account is for one person, and If more than one person participates in the experience, please be sure to change the number of people and make a reservation.
I'll send you the details of the ingredients and equipment you have to prepare in advance on group chats.
Make sure to read it and prepare before starting the class.
If there are some things you cannot prepare, let me know in advance.
Feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions.

I opened a select food shop which I sell only what I confirmed the quality and the story with my own five senses 11 years ago.
At the same time as opening the store, I started a cooking class for local people using the ingredients sold at our shop, and I have been sharing my cooking policy such as "use high-quality ingredients" and "spend time and effort " to improve dishes more delicious.
I started cooking experience host in 2017 when Airbnb started its experience in Osaka, and have welcomed more than 2000 guests from 47 countries and received many 5-star reviews.
Some guests commented that "It was a highlight of my trip", "This is the best udon I have ever eaten", "I'm looking forward to making udon for my family".
Let's enjoy the authentic delicious udon making together online.

This was such a wonderful experience for the whole family. Our 13 year old daughter and her friend did the class all on their own and we got a delicious dinner that rivaled some of the udon we ate in Japan. Thank you Tomoko for such a wonderful lesson. This was truly amazing!

We spent a fantastic hour and 45 minutes with Tomoko. Not only did we learn how to make delicious noodles and soup (which we will make again!) but we also found out about the background and history of this delicious part of Japanese cuisine. Tomoko was very knowledgable and friendly and her English was excellent!
