Let's cook together! We will go through the whole process and will cook the best mole you will ever taste!

“Manchamanteles” Mole is a fruity mole sauce that originates from the Mexican state of Puebla. This versatile sauce can be served over pork loin, chicken, quesadillas, enchiladas or any dish of your choice. In our class, we will try adding mole to a Quesadilla, and then you can use the mole however you wish and have a creation of your own.

Mole can be a very complicated dish to prepare, and there are many ways to do it, but the Manchamantel Mole from Puebla can be the most desirable for this experience because it's an easy one to prepare, yet sophisticated enough to make it a great one. Perfect for lunch or dinner!

This will be an interactive experience where you will learn how to prepare the Mole, ask as many questions as you have, and interact with other people doing the same thing to see who can make the very best mole. This experience is great for groups and team-building.
Other things to note
*The spiciness of the sauce will vary depending on the peppers. Consider using 50 grams for a milder sauce and 100 grams for a medium to the spicy sauce.

**Prior to blending, soften the peppers by soaking them in water overnight or in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Drain and remove all stems & seeds

Great cultural immersion— the host is so intelligent and tells interesting stories of the recipes and ingredients. Also shows lovely Mexican table and dishes that made me feel like I was right there in his kitchen! Highly recommend this class! Jacinto is a wonderful host and story teller, he is so passionate about sharing his pride in his grandmother's delicious mole recipe and in the cuisine of Mexico. The mole came together so quickly and was delicious! Gracias!

Wow I never tasted something so hearty and delicious until I made this mole recipe with Jacinto! I never imagined a dish without meat could be this rich and complex and satisfying. And it is so easy! This is definitely a recipe I will make again and again in the future. Jacinto is wonderfully kind and patient. I can't say enough about this recipe and this experience, you definitely have to take this class for yourself to experience some quality mole :)
