What you'll do

Be the coolest photographer for a day with a Vintage Polaroid Camera around your neck and create self-made memories of your trip.
At the beginning you'll receive a Polaroid camera of the 80's, a pack of color films and I'll briefly introduce you on how to use them.
I'll share with you all the tricks I learned in over than 8 years of Polaroid shooting and, once you're set, the fun begins!
We'll be exploring the 4 major neighborhoods of Florence to take photos that no one else takes! Yes, one of the aim of the Tour is to get creative with the Polaroid and have fun!
The San Lorenzo leather goods district and an hidden courtyard will be good chances for you to break the ice with the camera.
Then we'll take a break in Piazza della Repubblica for a candid photo in the belly botton of the city.
We'll head to Santa Croce and we'll reach Ponte Vecchio passing by narrow alleys full of pictoresque views.
The second half of the walk will be in Santo Spirito, where you'll breath the local atmosphere of one of the coolest neighborhood in town.
The view of Ponte Vecchio from a hidden balcony will amaze you, guaranteed!
We'll take a break in a lovely, tiny square with a cup of one of the best artisanal gelatos on the planet!
You'll learn peculiar stories about the places we'll visit and I'll give you my best tips on how to capture it all on Polaroid.
Other things to note
Ideal for single travelers and couples.

I work as a freelance videomaker and video creator for local businesses in Tuscany.
Telling stories through photos and videos has always fascinated me.
I love analog experiences, such as instant photography.

In 2012 I found an old Polaroid camera in a dusty garage.
Since then I captured memories into thousands of Polaroids, shooting with every kind of instant film and camera, taking part on International Instant Photo Exhibitions and spreading the Polaroid word through many photo events in Tuscany.
In 2016 I launched a successful online petition on Change.org, called "Save Instant Film", reaching 27k signatures and that helped to find a viable future for "Packfilm", the discontinued type of film.

Polaroid and storytelling is a great match and it describes me perfectly.
I mixed the words into @polastories, my own, tiny room on Instagram

It was also very nice of him to take some photos with another camera. Thanks so much!

Francesco kennt sich bestens aus: in Florenz und mit der Kamera. Der Nachmittag war sehr unterhaltsam und kurzweilig und perfekt, um Florenz kennenzulernen.

Francesco is a great guide! Super informative about how to get the best shot along with historical facts (fun times if you're a history nerd). It was also cool to use a piece of history to create personal history. ♥️

It was an incomparable experience!! I have a past with Polaroid through my father and connecting with someone who also 'gets' the physical, tangible, 'realness' of instant photography, halfway across the world from my homeland was unbelievable!! We even ran into another gentleman from Seattle who had brought an even OLDER Polaroid camera (Which Francesco has been on the front lines of efforts to save the film format of!) who we spoke with about or passion. But beyond that, his knowledge of the hidden treasures of Firenze cannot be denied. He showed small artist workshops that are still flourishing today, had recommendations on the best places to explore, eat, shop (And truly does know the BEST gelato in Florence!!) I can not recommend the experience enough!!
