I’m a skate photographer, and managing editor and creative director of Juice Magazine, a skate, surf, and music magazine that has been published since the early 1990s. My photos have also been featured in Rolling Stone and Vice. And yes, I used to be a competitive skateboarder, including a solid run where I won the Venice VSA Skate contest three years in a row. I was an instrumental player in getting the Venice Beach Skatepark built, giving me deep insight into LA’s skate culture.
