What you'll do

The food scene is always changing and no guided tour of it is the same. Depending on the season, the latest openings, and what we feel like, this experience is where we introduce you to some of the most interesting, hardest to find, culinary bites of Copenhagen

During the walk, we'll visit 2 - 3 places and get a little taste of each. You're very welcome to use the time to ask us about all the other places you'd like to check out whilst you're in Copenhagen!

"Mad" is Danish for "food", and that's what we're all about. We're a small team who spend our waking lives exploring, nerding up on, and writing about Copenhagen's ever-changing food scene.

We focus on everything from the hole-in-the-wall kebab shop to the Michelin-starred restaurants. There is so much going on in our little city, and we want to bring the hidden gems and the one-off foodie pop-ups to locals and visitors alike. These are the places you won't find in books or tourist guides.

My husband and I really enjoyed the experience with our host, Marie. We had a chance to see the city and Marie had a lot of good tips for food and beer. We highly recommend to travelers especially if it’s your first time. Thanks Marie for the restaurants and cafe recommendation. We tried most of them and they were amazing!
