What you'll do

The experience consists of a guided visit to the Laboratory Museum of the Nuragic Age (Labenur) which is combined with an experimental archeology activity on Nuragic ceramics.
The guided tour offers participants the opportunity not only to get to know the territory of Arzachena but also to have a panoramic view of the prehistory of Sardinia by immersing themselves in the heart of the daily activities of the Nuragic man.
The laboratory allows you to deepen your knowledge of one of these aspects by retracing the process that led man to the creation of prehistoric and nuragic ceramics through manual activity.

I am an archaeologist engaged for years in disclosure. In particular, I deal with experimental archeology and teaching. I designed and set up a small private museum, the Laboratory Museum of the Nuragic Age (Labenur). where I carry out these activities with the intent to help the public to get down to the heart of the period I deal with: the Nuragic Civilization (1600 - 500 BC).
The museum is located in the ancient Arzachena railway station where the green train with its carriages from the 1930s still passes. It houses an interesting collection of experimental reproductions of the finds found in the archaeological sites of Arzachena, as well as a small ethnographic section with original Sardinian costumes. Guided visits, workshops, experimental archeology activities are organized, and itineraries and events are organized.
