I love Holland and enjoy telling others about this vibrant town and its rich history. I have been actively studying Holland's history for several years, but I've been absorbing it my whole adult life, having moved here to attend Hope College. I've been leading tours of downtown Holland for several years. My parents immigrated from the Netherlands and so I was raised in a Dutch home. So, I am familiar with Dutch culture on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
