I hand built my own coal forge and work area that you will be able to use. I enjoy showing others how they can be their own blacksmith and make their own smith.

Roger is easy to communicate with and worked well with my teenage son. There’s no sign or address visible if gate is open. So keep a close eye out or you’ll miss the entrance.

Tiger was great. Although it took a little time to get things going, it added to the black smith experience. Made me understand hard it is to do and how precise you have to be. Would definitely recommend this experience. It was fun and hard at the same time.

Roger was great to work with! He is super passionate about what he does and is extremely patience! He really wants you to have a great experience. The extra bonus is the farm. Loved seeing all the pigs, horses, rabbits, chickens, and turkey!

This is a great experience to put a hammer in your hand and and to hit some hot metal. We were able to make some very nice harts that we will probably use to make a cool wind chime.

This is not you’re ‘typical’ blacksmith experience. Roger is very passionate about this venture and it shows. He introduced us to his hand-built forge, and explained how it was made so that you are able to replicate in your backyard. We were able to custom create hooks and ornamentals with Rogers aid and guidance throughout. Definitely a great arm work out - and be prepared to sweat! If you’re looking for a medieval blacksmithing this is not for you, but for us it was perfect! We enjoyed the space, too, complete with his farmed animals and rescue horses. We had sufficient air conditioned breaks, and Roger was truly great to work with us to accomplish exactly what we wanted to learn. If you’re interested in starting your own forge, this is a great way to get a taste of the realities of the venture!

Ladies will Enjoy! I had the best time. I made two hearts. He was very helpful. He holds the hot metal while you hammer and twirl. This was perfect for me. Stupendous experience! Challenge yourself. Roger, thanks for fulfilling a dream since I am an avid Western fan!
