Such a cool adventure! Angela and her dog Kyra take you high into the Sierra Nevada, where you can watch the sunset over distant Granada; then you descend into a canyon and follow up a small river past waterfalls, hanging bridges, and places where fallen rocks had formed a tunnel, until you come out into a starlit clearing and get to watch the stars in near complete darkness. Throughout, Angela takes the time to point out all sorts of interesting things like plants and herbs, strange rock formation, constellations and more. You feel you are really immersed in nature, and not just being out for a stroll! Angela is a very conscientious guide and makes sure everyone is safe. This said, you'll need good shoes, clothes that can get dirty and a sense of adventure--you'll be going up and down a lot, and most of the trek is in the dark with flashlights, so not your average walk in the park! =) It all adds up to a unique experience that you won't soon forget. 100% recommended!
