Hi, I'm Selva. Foremost an admirer of mother nature, then a local naturalist and historian by passion. My early interest in the connection between humans and nature peaked when I began following my dad into the forest searching for medicinal plants.
I've been on the kayak wandering through the mangrove routes looking for otters and snakes for 20 years now. Join me for a spontaneous adventure and we'll discover the symbiosis of organisms and explore Earth's history through limestone formation, flora, and fauna sustainably. I come on these expeditions completely prepared and I will make sure you are comfortable, have everything you need to enjoy the calm ocean, mangrove forests and the wilderness.

Where you'll be
Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark is located in the far north-western corner of peninsular Malaysia. Located in the northern State of Kedah, it is unique in the sense that it was formed on 99 islands that together made up the legendary Langkawi Archipelago. The natural landscape of Langkawi is a combination between highly vegetated hills of rainforest and some rather barren rocks.

Great kayaking experience into the mangroves with our guide, Selva. He’s a storyteller, eco-enthusiast and most importantly a foodie, telling you interesting facts and stories along the way. I believe they operate as a family business, so the experience and food provided are as though they are the guest themselves. While providing kayaking experience, they are also trying to support local fishermen. Doing good deeds indeed, so you’re definitely in good hands!
