What you'll do

Let's go hiking at the Top of the Tram where it's 30º cooler at the top of the mountain during the desert's hot-weather months. We will take you on a half-day hiking adventure in the magnificent & nearby Mt. San Jacinto State Park. First, we'll meet and board the popular Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the world's largest rotating tram car that whisks us up to 8,516 feet in a 12-minute incredible ride. We'll get oriented at the top's Mountain Station and then we'll head out on a three-hour round-trip hike into the State Park's pine trees, rocky trails and expansive mountain vistas. There's a bit of elevation gain, but rest assured that we'll tailor our hike and breaks to the fitness level and experience of the group. And you'll luxuriate in the cooler, greener wilderness above the Palm Springs desert floor and hills. When we finish and get back to the Tram's Mountain Station, we can enjoy a snack (or even beer, wine or cocktails for the adults!). Then we'll board the Tram for the return ride down and we'll get see the whole Coachella Valley spread out before us. Enjoy some healthy exercise where it is cooler and stunningly beautiful. And let us make it simple, safe & fun!
Other things to note
Please wear sunscreen, sturdy sneakers/hikers, & sunglasses. Plenty of water is a must. And a camera, hat, and snacks are recommended.
