What you'll do
We will learn about screen printing! This tactile hands on experience where you will learn the entire process of how a design is created, how a screen is made, and how the design gets ‘inked’ onto your shirt. Plus you walk away with some really cool Tennessee swag with bragging rights to all your friends. You can say ‘Yep, I made this!’ Feel free to bring up to 5 additional items per person to print such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, flour sack hand towels, pillow covers, canvas totes, aprons, etc. Also, you may bring whatever you’d like to drink during class. Adult beverages are excellent, juice boxes are cool too.
Other things to note
As stated earlier, if you would like to bring additional shirts, tank tops or other items to print, feel free. Up to 5 additional items per guest. Also, feel free to bring whatever beverages you’d like to sip on while you’re here.

As a freelance graphic designer with my Fine Art degree from The University of Tennessee, I am opening up my studio so you can come and create your own screen printed t-shirt, tote bag, and artwork! You will learn the entire process from how to ‘burn’ a screen to printing your very own shirt/poster to finally curing the ink. This is a fun experience where you’ll get to take home some awesome wearable designs from Tennessee!
Where you'll be
I will conduct this workshop in our pool house that has been converted into my cozy screen printing /art studio. I’d love for you to join me and get our hands dirty as we get creative! Don’t worry, it’s a completely guided class, so if you’re nervous that you’re not crafty enough, don’t be! This experience is light hearted, fun, and enjoyable for even the most inexperienced Do-it-yourselfers.

This was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this for a laidback date night or rainy day activity. Stacey was a wonderful host, who greeted us warmly and made us “expert” screen printers by the end of our visit. We would absolutely go again, it’s an incredible value for the money and a really fun process to learn.
