What you'll do

When you arrive to our studio, just north of the center of Oaxaca, we’ll offer you a beverage like fresh flavored water and then we'll get started on creating your beaded work of art!

In this 3-4 hour workshop, you'll use a handmade wooden loom to complete a small 6-9 line beaded friendship bracelet. (If you have another idea in mind about a different type of beaded piece you may want to make, we can explore other options: earrings, keychains, etc.)

Our beading workshops are perfect for all level beaders! Whether you're a first time or a well-seasoned beader, Pedro will work with you at your level to guide you through creating your unique piece of beaded art. You'll learn his special reduction technique that adds intricate detail to your creation. If it's a bracelet you make, you'll learn how to make it adjustable so it slides over your hand and fits perfectly on your wrist! Pedro has been teaching beading since 2012 and adapts his approach to many types of learners. Plus, he will keep you entertained and having fun while you work on your masterpiece!

You'll leave with your finished beaded bracelet or other work of beaded art.

Contact us with questions about delivering off-site workshops at the location of your choice in Oaxaca and throughout Mexico! We can accommodate for larger groups at discounted rates.

Our workshops are available in English and Spanish.
Other things to note
If you're coming from the Centro, you can take a bus or taxi. Taxis from the Centro cost about 70 pesos. We can send you a pin of our location to your phone once you book.
