What you'll do

Let me take you on a walking food and history tour through Hanoi's old town. We will visit only vegetarian or vegan restaurants, tasting soups and traditional Vietnamese snacks. We will stop for a full lunch and, of course, finishing with dessert. In between courses, I will introduce you to the history, art, and architecture of Hanoi.
We will try some of the best vegan specialties from Vietnam including Xoi Yen (Sticky rice), dried candy fruits, vegetarian Vietnamese bread, sugarcane juice, noodle salad, dessert, King roti, and the famous Vietnamese egg coffee (or black coffee).
This tour is not simply a food one, it also provides a profound insight into the history, culture, and religion of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine.
Can't wait to see you there!

Ciao, I'm Tony!

I was born and raised in the central highland of Vietnam. My family has been growing coffee for 25 years. When I was 18, I moved to Hanoi for my studies. And now my passion is to do tours and meet people from all over the world. I have been hosting over 2000 tours for the 3 years for tourists from 128 countries in the world.

I know how difficult it is to find the right restaurants in a new city, especially in Hanoi as most locals are big fans of pork. I've created this experience with the purpose of taking you out to feed you with the best vegetarian dishes in the city.

I love culture and history, that's why I want to fulfill of introducing my country’s culture to the world. I would love to help you have an unforgettable trip to Vietnam!

Cheers!

Wow! Where to start, a wonderful tour from beginning to end. Steve and Jenna were extremely accommodating, we were late to arrive and they were very understanding and made us feel at ease. The food was delicious and they were both so knowledgeable about the cuisine and culture. We had some wonderful conversations and really enjoyed ourselves. Can’t thank Steve and Jenna enough, would 100% recommend. We hope to see you again soon!

The experience was better than I expected. Tony was a great storytelling person, he shared not only the history of Hanoi Old Quarter but also interesting stories regarding Chinese literature and Shakespeare's works. And most importantly, the food he introduced was various and delicious. ^^
