What you'll do
Our starting point is Mogosoaia Palace, only 2 km outside Bucharest. It is a good spot for checking the bikes and for deciding upon the route. It is also a good spot for taking photos and for visiting a historical place.
We will start riding for a 60 km route. Our route is following asphalted, low traffic roads around Bucharest.
We are crossing small villages and crops of corn and rapeseed, but also forests with wildlife (it is very common to spot dear, hawks, pheasants, rabbits or small snakes).
On the way we stop for a short lunch in the yard of an ecological educational farm.
The average speed will be around 25 km/hour, depending the wind and your fitness level. We will provide road, touring, or gravel bikes for this trip.
We will return in the same place.
Depending the arrival time, after finishing your tour, you can spend more time in Mogosoaia Park, visiting the old historical Mogosoaia Palace and have a meal in the local restaurant.
Other things to note
Please contact us in advance if you need additional support for arriving at the starting place or if you need optional transfer from your accommodation place.

I am guiding throughout Romania since 2007, mainly on cycling roads. Bucharest is the city I live in. I came here as a student back in 1997. It is my pleasure to guide travelers and to present the city and the stories. I am one of the first cycling guides in Bucharest and I was among the experts the city hall collaborated in order to develop the cycling paths. I own a cycling tourism company - Bike in Time, where you can visit my other tours.
As Bucharest is not a very cycling friendly city, outside we can find quiet and low traffic roads, suitable for one day cycling tour.
Bicycle and a drink are included in the tour. Looking forward to meet you here!
