What you'll do
We meet at the Harley Park Boat Ramp, Marine Parade Labrador. You will be provided life jackets and learn how to kayak. We then kayak over to Wavebreak Island 30mins approx, and hopefully spotting the locals dolphins along the way. Once on Wavebreak Island we have a light continental breakfast on the beach. After breakfast we teach you how to snorkel and give important safety instructions to make sure you are safe and have the best time with hundreds of sub-tropical fish. Snorkelling Duration 45mins- 1 hour Approx. Life jackets are provided for non swimmers. After feeding and playing with all the fish we kayak over to South Stradbroke Island 10mins kayaking approx. Where we look for wallabies and other native wildlife, we also walk to the surfing beach which is one of the best in the world. Due to wind and tides and safety some days we cannot kayak over to South Stradbroke Island, more time will be spent snorkelling on Wavebreak Island. Kayaking back to the Harley Park Boat Ramp takes 30mins Approx.

I was born and breed on the Gold Coast and after traveling around South America, Alaska and the Caribbean I knew that I wanted to show off my beautiful backyard. Having been camping fishing boating to the islands surrounding the Gold Coast since I was a boy. I brought a kayaking company off a marine biologist and have been running kayaking and snorkelling tours for over 17 years.

Despite the overcast weather which made the snorkelling a bit rough the overall experience was amazing. Nick was a great guide and knows a lot about Straddie! Perfect for beginners as it’s not too hard or far of a kayak. Simple breakfast, which was all we needed! Definitely recommend if you’re wanting to add some adventure into your day

There were 4 adults & 4 kids on our booking & it was a great experience. The snorkeling was better than expected. Unfortunately the weather was too windy for one part of the tour, but that didn't worry us for we enjoyed the first stop for longer. Nick was an excellent host, & it added to the experience to hear about his native Norway.

Great experience kayaking and snorkeling! They feed the fish so they get right up close to you! I think I saw over 10 types of fish at Wavebreak Island!
My personal warning if you are doing this experience during a trip away from home, book as early into your trip as you can as your experience may get rescheduled due to weather, if you book it early in your trip this gives you room to reschedule before you go home so you don't miss out!
At little fast paced so be prepared to be sore the next day, definitely a work out haha. But the host is very knowledgeable and will help you out and he's always checking in on you to see how your doing.
