What you'll do

In Quillabamba we will visit the places where coffee is collected directly from the field, the process of threshing, roasting and tasting in a laboratory. Then we will go to the most prominent coffee shops and culminate in the Yunca cafeteria for tasting local products. Finally, you will LEARN TO PREPARE YOUR OWN HANDCRAFTED COFFEE. If you wish you can buy products that you will taste and memories of your visit to the city.

Learn more about Wilda Sheila

Wilda Sheila

I am an entrepreneur daughter of coffee growers working in coffee-related companies and I know the entire production chain and two years ago I opened a cafeteria where I promoted the consumption of good coffee and other products from my town. I rescue the ecological issue and I appreciate the work of the field.

What's included

Drinks
Coffee made by hand in an ecological cloth filter. Tasting of chocolates, cocktails and honey.

Where you'll be

Visits to places of collection, process, tasting and preparation will take place within the city of Quillabamba that can be explored on foot to enjoy the experience and also because everything is relatively close. During the tour you can take ice cream from the main square and fruit from the local market and of course photos in each place.

Guest safety

Outdoor activities carry risks, and you may be exposed to dangerous situations as part of this experience. Make sure you can participate safely given your abilities and the conditions (such as location, weather, and equipment).

More tips

The mobility is in mototaxi and the cost is between 1.50 soles to 2 soles. It is a small and quiet city, there are usually no robberies. The prices are comfortable and there is plenty of food and drink. It's hot, it's called "the city of eternal summer." The usual language is Spanish or Quechua, few speak English.
