What you'll do

Do you like Olive Oil, Nature and Vermouth???
Join us to create your own Artisanal Mediterranean aromatic olive oil with plants native to the Costa Brava Sud.

Enjoy the surroundings and fabulous views of Es Codolar, Vila Vella, and the Mediterranean coast of Tossa de Mar as we take a quick nature walk to explore and learn about herbs and spices.

Great for flavoring all your favorite dishes...from meat, fish, a good salad, or even a simple toast...I'll teach you how to choose the right oil seasonings for every taste. Learning how to make your oil is easy, relaxing and fun. Create and take home a unique souvenir and reminder of your stay in Tossa. We will create your aromatic oils in beautiful 25cl glass bottles, that can easily be taken home. They even make a great personalized gift!

To begin, will meet at the ancient ruins of Vila Romana, and from there take a short walk to our home, where we'll begin with my favorite special recipe for a hot infusion oil. Next, we will take a short trek while our first oil cools, and explore the local plants and enjoy some amazing views.

Finally, here in Catalunya we have a long tradition of enjoying "Vermut". Once we return, we will create another oil with spices and herbs of your choice, while sampling a tasting of three different types of Vermut, accompanied by typical "Pa amb Tomaquet" (Catalan bread with tomato) and a small snack.
Other things to note
Feel free to contact us about schedules and times that might be more convenient, and we will do our best to accommodate!

Hola! I'm Eulàlia ("Lilu" to my friends), I'm originally from Barcelona, but live in Tossa de Mar with Rick and we would like to invite you into our flat to experience and learn about two of our great Catalan traditions!
One of my passions since I was a child has been traditional cuisine. I really enjoy hosting and sharing our amazing culture to new friends at my home table.
In Mediterranean cuisine, olive oil is an important staple of every meal, and for many years I have been creating aromatic oils to flavor and add a special touch to my dishes. It's amazing how thyme, rosemary, or fennel can really bring out the flavor of a dish...and best of all, many of these plants can be found on the Costa Brava!
I would really enjoy sharing my knowledge with you so you can bring home a different and beautiful memory, and best of all..made by YOU!

This was an absolute dream! Rick & lilu are wonderful humans. I’m happy to have met them and experience Life in Tossa through them. They are true locals and guided my short time in Tossa well. This experience was my favorite part of my trip to Spain. The olive oil making was so fun and exciting with lilu! the short hike up the coast was so beautiful. I saw so many wild herbs, plants, and vegetables. The view at the top of the hill was breathtaking and poetic. Tossa is magical. Rick is passionate about the rich history and culture in Tossa. It was very exciting to learn from him. I can’t wait to go back. Overall this experience was highly immersive to the culture. I whole heartedly recommend this experience. ❤️
