What you'll do

We´ll meet at the famous Viennese Market "Naschmarkt" and start the bike tour from there. We will pass the Museumsquarter with insights for art lovers on different upcoming exhibitions (which you might visit after the tour by yourself), follow the "Ring" along the historical center, passing by most famous historical buildings, also showing you one of the coziest english bookstores (also for art lovers), crossing the Danube canal to the "Prater" - the famous amusement and recreational park, following the bike route to the Danube Island and crossing the Danube to pass the UN city building and make a picknick with my home-made muffins and coffee/tea at the "Old Danube" with a view to the city. After that we will ride back to the city center following the other side of the "Ring", passing Stadtpark and the Opera and finishing up at the Naschmarkt again, where you can enjoy lunch/dinner and discover the great diversity of that international market after the tour.
Other things to note
Please keep in mind that you definitely have to know how to ride a bike ;)

I´m passionate about vintage race bikes and an art lover - with education in art history and filmmaking. In Vienna I can perfectly combine these two qualities. Discovering the Viennese hipster life-style on a bike and having a cultural route from the historical center of Vienna to the Danube island and a picknick with a view rounds up the Viennese way of life. I´m living in Vienna for over 30 years and I will give you a more then welcome insight into the Viennese "gemütliche" (cozy) way of living.

Where you'll be

Depending on your pace we will bike through the historical center of Vienna and end up at the "Old Danube" for a small picknick before making our way back to the famous Naschmarkt. I will make stops at interesting spots in the center, that are usually not touristic at all but are worth visiting, like the Danube canal for its endless graffiti walls or the best bookstore for art-enthusiasts.

I would say that this is not a regular bicycle trip it’s hipster do you are take to more irregular locations that may not be on a “regular tour” It was a lot of fun.
