What you'll do

This is Lisbon's alternative walk. It mainly explores alleys, courtyards and shortcuts. On 80% of our experience we'll not meet other visitors.

The walk is all about the Portuguese identity and history, our culture, social and economic facts and Lisboa's traditions.

It is a 5 km (3 Miles) walk on a hilly city, so there will be going up and down, with stairs and cobblestone.

I really like the fun and social side of this experience and it includes geographical specifications and the historical/cultural content.

It's very family friendly, so if you like to walk and you are interested on our nation details and people's character, you're most welcome to #1 walk in the country!

It's also cool as a first contact since I'm happy to tell you tips for food, Fado, literature and simple things like how to get transported around the place. And all Lisboa's atractions that are not covered by the walk.
.
All I look for is to stablish a frendly and joyfull relation between all of us participating! That's the magic that stands my favourite quote: "I have the perfect job"
Other things to note
I keep the path as a secret so guests can find the unknown city I'm willing to show. If you already walked with me... Shhh :)

I'm born, raised and lived all my life in Lisboa.
It's a huge privilege to share an unrevealed and unknown off the beaten path walk.

I've started a long journey of studying our history to develop this experience. With my literature background I was delighted to reborn to my city's knowledge!
I'm looking to share my lifetime skills as an actor, a consultant, and a history and literature researcher.

If you're looking for fun, history, culture and social facts... This experience is definitely for you!

All of us waking so far share a commun passion: the city of the perfect light...

If you want a fast way to acclimate yourself with the city, Humberto is your guy. He is witty, charismatic, and will give you personal insights into Lisbon. Be sure to pack your comfortable walking shoes because the 7 hills are no joke. Worth every penny!

We did this the day we arrived and it really helped acclimate ourselves with the area and getting our grounds. Would recommend doing this in the beginning of your trip.

Before I give some details, I highly recommend going on a walk with Humberto! I could tell you the usual, such as, he is knowledgeable, super friendly, makes the walk fun…and all of that is correct. But what makes walking with Humberto really special is that he showing his neighborhood, the place he grew up. While walking, people shake his hand and wave friendly. Walking with Humberto is like walking with a friend who want to show you where a grew up and what being Portuguese is all about. Go for a walk…

This was a fantastic experience, walking the back streets of multiple neighborhoods. We rarely other tour groups, as they were following the more conventional path. Humberto shared the historical perspective for every sure we visited, which everyone's the experience tremendously.
