What you'll do

Our tour takes you into the Meteoro Winery.
We meet in front of Meteora e Bike office, right in the center of the lovely town of Kalampaka.
We pick and adjust our bikes and equipment.
Your leader will lead you out on a 3-hour cycling, vineyard visiting and wine tasting tour in the eastbound of the Thessaly plain.
We are heading to Diava,in the foot of mountain Koziakas, and after a few kilometers, we arrive at the place, where you will have a guided visit in the vineyard by the owner.
This is a good opportunity to explain the different types of wines of Meteora.
You’ll understand and learn about the grape varieties to associate a taste, about the soil and why Meteora wines are so unique and exceptional!
A local producer will open his winery for a visit.
Finally, conclude the day with a delicious catered wine tasting, accompanied by greek delicacy while overlooking a spectacular view of the vineyards and Meteora cliffs.
You will taste 3 different wines and one spirit(Tsipouro)of the domain followed by breadsticks, local cheese, ham and more.
If you desire you will be able to buy some more wine.
Then we’ll go back to Kalambaka, following a different route, enjoying panoramic views of Meteora.

I am a level 3 MIAS(international association) certified mountain bike leader and instructor, I have over 20 years of experience in bike riding and bike racing and I am also a professional bike mechanic and first aid certified provider. Our mission is to provide bike hiring services along with some unique guided e-bike tours so every visitor will have the complete Meteora experience.

Where you'll be

We start from the center of Kalampaka to the south side of the region, across the Pineios river. We will ride through the valley of Thessaly, the biggest flat area in Greece. Our trip is on asphalt road with no traffic or high speeding cars. The electric bikes do all the job so the rider can enjoy the tour without getting tired. Panoramic views of Meteora, a historic bridge and finally to ''Meteoro Winery''.

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Guest requirements

More tips

We offer a variety of bike sizes so every rider will find the right bike for his size. The riding pace is at a low speed so we can enjoy the views. We take many short breaks for pictures and stories.
