Our multilingual marine enthusiasts will share endless knowledge about the local area as well as the abundant Marine Life of Baja.

As an Ocean Lover and marine enthusiast, I would like to pass on a bit of this passion to make this world a better and more sustainable place, and provide memories to last a lifetime.

I am Roland, the founder of Saltycabo Excursions. I have been living here in Cabo for over 5 years now. During this time I have been working as a tour guide in Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Whale watching and Whale Shark tours. Managing the Dive Center “East Cape Explorers” in San Jose del Cabo for over two years got me to see the potential and beauty that San Jose del Cabo has to offer during the whale watching season away from the boat crowds. During the winter season from December to April our company works in collecting information about populations, health and more.

Where you'll be

Each year, Humpback Whales and Gray Whales migrate down to the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez for their annual mating ritual. The whale watching season starts from the 15th of December and ends on the 15th of April.
Away from the boat crowds, we will take the time to observe the natural behaviors of these mammals, at the same time enjoying the breathtaking displays of mothers and calves, and/or competitive males. Something you will never forget
