What you'll do

This experience takes place only between 12 April - 12 May 2021 at my home in Nyon.

Ramadan is only one month a year and I am inviting you to experience this magical time at my home. You do not need to be fasting to enjoy this dinner. Please note that it is possible to combine this dinner with my "Turkish Coffee Fortune Telling" experience in Airbnb. Please check my profile.

Muslims fast for one month of the year at the holy month of Ramadan. No eating or drinking is allowed during the day when the sun is up. During Ramadan, the dinner table is prepared before the "time" of the fast-breaking, the whole family and friends gather around the table and wait for the exact time of the day to eat.

When it is time to eat, the ritual of Ramadan starts where we break the fasting and eat a full meal.

Ramadan is not only about eating. It is more than that. Ramadan is the time when people come together, meet, forgive, share, help, and love.

We will share this love and food together. Come and enjoy this magical time with us.
Other things to note
Ramadan is the holy month for Muslims. The experience is more than just dinner. You will learn about a new culture and share the love. The time of the fast-breaking changes each day according to the sun.

I am an architect with a master's degree who was born and grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. I also inherited my father's tourism agency which has been active for more than 40 years. Turkey's 90% of its inhabitants are Muslims and Ramadan time is special for the whole country. I grew up with that culture where every evening the whole family gathers around the table and waits for the time to fast breaking time. I would like to share this unique and special experience with my guests.
