Experience hosted by Martin

3 hours

Hosted in English, Spanish

What you'll do

We will receive our visitors in our beautiful underground cellar while we get to know each other. There we can observe the wines we have and choose the most suitable for our food, at this time we will learn about the main Argentine wines and how to pair them with each meal. Then we will start the cooking class and learn to make tomatican, homemade sourdough bread, empanadas, Argentine roast and bread pudding. We will visit our garden to spice up our food in a natural and exquisite way and we will also explain how we can have a home garden. We will have dinner and this is the right time to talk about topics such as music, art, cuisine, philosophy, places not to be missed in our country and our province to recommend to our hosts. Finally we can visit our cellar again to enjoy wines, sparkling wines, distillates, drinks and infusions and relax in our patio and continue enjoying the experience. We can also take advantage of this moment to learn from distillates, cigars, chocolates and other delicacies.
Other things to note
We can adapt the menu according to the tastes of our visitors. You must notify in advance for changes.

This experience is carried out by Omar Peralta and me. Omar is my cooking teacher at PerAlta Cocina. He is a chef and musician (he plays the double bass). He has worked for 20 years in gastronomy, is a very passionate and creative person. I (Martín) am passionate about cooking and wine. Sharing a meal and a good wine is an unforgettable experience if we do things from the heart. In my house I have a restaurant behind closed doors with Omar and we really enjoy cooking for others and sharing this experience. Each event is unique and an amazing atmosphere is generated. Enjoying a good meal accompanied by the right wine is one of the great pleasures of life. We are both lovers of the traditional cuisine of Argentina and other countries, since our gastronomy is the mixture of several, fused with our customs.
