What you'll do
Want to take a break from annoying crowds of the city?
Join me in this panoramic 4.5 hours bike ride. You’ll experience the Tuscan countryside with its vineyards and olive groves and lovely rural roads.
Starting at 9.15 am from the Oltrarno area of Florence, we will cycle along ancient roads to a Villa up on a hill surrounded by nature. All symbolic Tuscan are along the way: cypress trees, pines, vineyards, and Tuscan olive trees.
At this Renaissance Villa, we will get to see how olive oil and wine are produced.
Then, we will relax in the old wine cellar with exclusive wine and olive oil tasting and a light Tuscan snack of local products. Their products are made on the premise and they are only sold locally.
That’s a perfect combination of cycling, visiting a private Villa and tasting good local wine and olive oil, experiencing the true beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
After visiting the Villa, we ride back to Florence, enjoying some more Tuscan landscapes. We will stop at the famous Piazzale Michelangelo for a beautiful viewpoint over the city of Florence. From here, we go back to the starting point where our tour will end.
Other things to note
We suggest a windbreaker, jumper or sweatshirt (something to keep you warm!) regardless of the weather. If rain is predicted, bring rain gear!

Hi, my name is Bill! and I am the founder of We LIke Tuscany / I Bike Italy and the head of our wonderful guides.
I was born in Mexico and moved to various parts of the U.S. growing up.
Extreme sports being my passion, I spent some of the best years surfing it up in the most beautiful remote islands.
In the '90s I moved to the amazing city of Florence to start my adventure: a new business of bike tours in the Chianti region. I dedicated myself to cycling around Tuscany for a long time, and now I consider myself quite an expert on the beauties of this magical region. Come along on an adventure and meet my long-time Italian friends in Chianti and Tuscany!
