What you'll do

Led by a local historian and a vivid storyteller, experience the local’s culture and the island’s uniqueness through food, colonial history, and architectural influence. Selva’s Untold Stories is a journey rich with the untold history of the Nusantara Culture and the timeline of the island’s early civilization which are traced back through medicinal plants, temples, cultural assimilation and local lifestyle (colonial way of living). Towards the end of the adventure, you'll delight your palate with an authentic local dinner comprising dishes radish steamed fish, chili squid, marmalade chicken, long beans and mix vegetables among a few other signatures!
Other things to note
While we do provide water, we encourage you to bring your own water bottle. Please inform us ahead if your allergic to any type of ingredients. With an adventurous mindset, you're set for a whole lot of fun!

Where you'll be

Depending on the size of the group, we will be traveling in a comfortable vehicle and occasionally on foot as our naturalist will introduce you to various medicinal plants along back lane of Langkawi. You'll get to interact with local people and learn more about their culture one to one. We are very passionate about the environment and the preservation of cultures hence our trips are designed with a conscious approach.
