What you'll do

Clive will help the students broaden the way they see the world through an artistic point of view.

Emphasis is on informality sharing and fun and is open to all skill levels, with one on one tuition throughout the day.

Focus is on perception rather than technique allowing students to feel comfortable at their skill level.

Half day free style art experience includes all materials needed for the day and a basic drawing kit to take home.

Come and experience a relaxed fun morning drawing from nature in the beautiful setting of the artist’s; Clive Heaven MA.(RCA) home, 5 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland twenty minutes from Auckland CBD. The gardens are festooned with wild life and mature trees, private and tranquil.

Itinerary:
9.30am:
Students meet in the studio for introductions. Presentation on the days expectations while morning tea is served.
10.00am:
Students are escorted into the grounds to select their work stations. As work progresses Clive will visit each student to answer any questions.
11.30am:
Everyone returns to the studio, students discuss their work in progress.
12.00am:
Students return to their work stations or are free to change view. Clive will visit each student to give insights as work progresses.
1.45pm:
Everyone returns to the studio for a debrief. Questions and answers and insights are shared.
2.00pm:
Experience ends.
Clive will help the students broaden the way they see the world through an artistic point of view.

Things to know

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
