This was a fun and unique way to understand the local cuisine. Linda hosts a very efficient and streamlined class that is welcoming and easy to follow along. She encourages participation and does not leave anyone left out. In addition, her house is immaculate and the animals she has are fun to be around. It definitely gives the class a more laid-back feel, because you are in someone's home. Moreover, Linda was very knowledgeable and friendly. What I appreciated about her is that she would explain why certain foods came to be considered "Hawaiian" and the history behind it. Lastly, I liked that she would give tips on where to find ingredients and foods around the island. I would highly recommend this course to anyone, especially because there are very few cooking classes on the island.
