Such a fun hike with the best guide! Javier was super attentive and kind, and provided everything we needed to feel comfortable and safe on the climb! He was super fun to talk to and made the day very fun. The hike itself was beautiful, too!

I had the pleasure of going on a hike with Javier on Jan. 2025, and I just wanted to express how impressed I was with the experience. He was very knowledgeable of the trail and surrounding environment. Javier had a positive attitude and passion for the outdoors. He made the hike enjoyable and strees-free.
I’d highly recommend Javier to anyone looking for a great hiking experience in Mexico City.

The hike was tough but beautiful. At the top we saw all the volcanoes surrounding Mexico City. It was very cold in the morning so I recommend to dress warm but in layers you can take off. At the top there was a lot of climbing on the rocks

This was a fantastic hike with a great guide (Javier) and great group. Javier shared his extensive knowledge about the area and his experiences hiking other volcanos in Mexico, which was all very interesting and informative. The surroundings were beautiful and the group had really good energy. The lunch, pulque and conversation after the hike made the trip an overall excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Javier’s tour of Ajusco mountain was fantastic! The area is stunning with many changing landscapes. Javier went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable and welcome on the bilingual tour. He spent extra time to bring us to a favorite local grill after the hike which was also a highlight.
