What you'll do

Join us for a Wild Wisdom Mini- Retreat - a beautiful Bayside beach yoga and mindfulness walk. We will walk along the sea shore at the stunning Chrissy fields area on the North Shore of San- Francisco, overlooking the beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge. We will practice gentle yoga at intervals along our walk, using our stretches to literally “come to our sense” in the stunning scenery around us –being nurtured by time in nature. No yoga mat is required as we will focus on standing poses, exploring how mindful movement can support our lives “off the mat” ( NB you do not have to be skinny or wear special yoga pants for this(!)- you are welcome exactly as you are! ) We will also practice some short periods of mindfulness meditation from the Insight Tradition. Sometimes we will be in silence together-sometimes we will explore a coaching question – making space to explore how we can live lives filled with more of what matters most to us. Give yourself the gift of making the space to connect deeply- to yourself, to others and to the natural world around you. NB this is much more of a mindful walk along the sea shore- slowing down to soak in the scenery, using gentle yoga stretches to come out of the thinking mind and down into the body- moving mindfully and practicing being present; than a super-strenuous hike! We work deeply in this half-day so it's suitable for over 18's only.

Hello, I'm Tess - I'm a Spirit Rock Meditation Centre trained Dharma Yoga Facilitator (200 hour) specialising in mindful movement outdoors with over 25 years of meditation experience. I’m a trained creativity coaching specialising in supporting people to listen into their body as a source of deep inner wisdom. I’m an accredited 5Rhythms teacher- a form of conscious dance/mindful movement. I was the first person in to facilitate guided conscious dance events outdoors using "silent disco technology". I have been leading mindful movement outdoors for the past 7 years. I have a series of popular meditations on the Insight Timer Meditation app. I’m also a multi-award winning international event producer with 15 years experience at creating award winning events: "Achieves great things" ★★★★★ The Observer "Pure pleasure." ★★★★★ The Guardian

Where you'll be

We will walk along the stunning sea shore at Chrissy Fields- overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. We will be based on the beach and stop for a series of standing yoga and moving mindfulness exercises along the way (no mat required). The location is on the North shore of the San Francisco Peninsula and has both direct views out across the bay and is backed by the San Francisco city skyline.

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend. The sand is an uneven surface to walk on! We will work with some periods of guided meditation so guests should be willing sit on the beach sand and be in silence for a short amount of time.

In this mini-retreat we will be doing yoga and mindful movement, plus some gentle coaching questions, so guests should be willing to dive in deep, self reflect and explore their inner experience!
