What you'll do
On our electric fat-bikes, we wind our way along the rugged coastline and through thick cypress groves, stopping at all the amazing viewpoints. We'll share about our area's unique ocean wildlife and iconic landmarks...the Lone Cypress, Point Pinos Lighthouse, Lover's Point, Asilomar Beach, 17-Mile Drive.
We cruise at a comfortable 15-20 mph. In the open air you'll smell the ocean & hear the waves. And as we explore this most scenic stretch of ocean from Cannery Row to Ghost Tree, look for deer, seals, otters, sea lions, and whales!
Our tours are great for anyone comfortable riding a bike. Though you have to be over 14 years and 4'10" to ride solo, we can accommodate younger children as passengers with a parent on our e-Tandem bikes for $59 each. Or for younger children we have cargo e-bikes with back seats they can ride on for $29 each. If you are traveling with children, please call to discuss the exact nature of our ride to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe.
If joining a tour with others, single riders will be regular price. If no one else joins your requested time, you can pay $30 extra for a solo tour or choose a different time or cancel.
Other things to note
Pack a layer. It can be chilly on sections of the ride!
You may want to pack a snack.
Street park for $1.50/hr. or $20 all day in lots.
People often ask to stretch the tour...pay for 3.5-4 hrs!

Hi, it's Joaquin! When my home was cut off by landslides in 2017, I bought 4 eBikes out of necessity. I took a few friends for a ride along the coast and everyone left with a perma-grin saying, "That was the most fun I've ever had!" So I bought a bunch more e-bikes, launched Big Sur Adventures, and in a few weeks, the fun went viral. Samantha Brown even took a tour with me filming PBS's "Places to Love."
As demand for this experience has grown, I've brought on board a few local guides, Jonathan, Zane, Robert, and Sydney, who have a great knowledge of the history and wildlife of our area. Come join us and experience the fun!

Where you'll be
We'll start at Cannery Row and ride along the ocean past Lover's Point through the Marine Gardens Park. Passing Asliomar, we ride into Pebble Beach with its famous golf courses, stunning mansions, and beautiful scenery. We'll turn around at the Lone Cypress.
We do most of our stops on the way out, so for or those wishing to eat or shop in Pebble Beach or Carmel, you can leave the group at the Lone Cypress & rent the e-bikes for extra time.

This is an exhilarating tour of Carmel. The E bikes are fantastic and easy to ride. Believe me I am a nervous rider and I had so much fun even though we were riding on the roads with cars! It did get a little intense when the sun went down and riding in the fog was scary but magical! All in all a very fun way to make some good memories and burn a few calories along the way!

Jonathon was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgable about the area, and he was an amazing guide. Also, the bikes were perfect - in good shape, clean, and worked so well. You could chose to pedal as hard as you want, or not pedal at all and just use the e-bike functionality.

Spent a magical exhilarating afternoon riding an Ebike down this beautiful coast, if you’re worried about adapting to the bike, don’t be, very easy to use! I’ve driven down this coast in a car a hundred times, but it’s a completely different experience on a bike. My guide had an incredible amount of local history to share and also an impressive knowledge of the local flora and fauna. Definitely will do this again!

This was a wonderful way to see pebble beach and Pacific Grove. Jonathan was an incredible host and he took us on a beautiful journey with amazing facts to go along with the ride. If you take the evening tour. Dress WARM! Bring gloves and layer up. Wind breaker recommended.

This was so unbelievably fun!!! We had Jonathan as our guide, and he was so funny, informative, and professional. We learned so much about the local history of Pacific Grove. This electric bike tour is seriously meant for anyone who loves fresh air and beautiful scenery. You can choose a level 1-5 for the amount the motor helps propel you (I think I stayed on 4-5 the entire time and it was very leisurely). Neither of us broke a sweat the whole 20-mile ride, so don't worry about not being athletic or in shape enough. The only complaint I can possibly think of is that my butt was sore from the seat. Make sure to bring sunglasses, gloves, a snack, and a jacket during the winter months.
