What you'll do

According to Yelp, Charlotte is the No. 1 most up and coming city in America. With that said, people from all over the country are making the Queen City their new home, and there's plenty of (social) treasures waiting to be explored! We'll start on the north end of downtown Charlotte at First Ward Park. From there we'll head to our first coffee shop located in a nearby indoor marketplace, although highly popular, it still is a hidden gem for independent food and drinks. Afterwards we'll make our way into the heart of the city where I will be able to share with you some interesting and widely unknown facts about Charlotte: such as its important roles during the founding of the country, its economy that changed from the manufacturing and textiles into the power house of banking the city is known for today, only second to NYC. A city that for all who visit, never want to leave! We'll make additional stops for some good photo opportunities of popular landmarks while we continue to stop into some of the best specialty shops located within downtown. Finally ending our tour on the southern part of the city near the famous Carolina Panther's stadium! With this unique experience, I've been able to work closely with the local coffee houses to offer a bit more of what makes each one of them unique not only to myself but to the whole of Charlotte for anyone!

Coffee is community, and has allowed me to meet some of the most interesting people from all over the globe between the sharing of a crafted beverage. I've been in the coffee industry off and on since 2010 as both a producer and avid connoisseur. Being able to integrate my shared experiences and knowledge of "Specialty Coffee," also called "3rd Wave," as a reemergence of the enlightenment in the which traces its origins back to the coffee houses of London/UK, but for the 21st Century. Sharing that knowledge with you will allow me to introduce travelers and locals alike to new and unexplored worlds of community, coffee, and art. Three things I'm passionate about and believe in: things that have strong tethers to bringing together people from all over.
