What you'll do

Let us guide you on a historical tour of the Greater TURIN, so defined because it is unbeatable and unbeaten. Thanks to the passion of the co-host Daniela Fiorone, member of the Dignità Granata Association for the reconstruction of the Philadelphian Stadium and for the defense and recovery of assets and values from the history of Torino Calcio, you will enter the world of GRANATA and will be able to be transported in a Turin made of memories, events and images with a dominant color: that of love and Barbera!
You will reach the Royal Basilica of Superga, a late neoclassical masterpiece of Juvarra, commissioned by King Vittorio Amedeo II as a thank you to the Virgin Mary, with a spectacular view of the city of Turin, which extends to the Alps.
You will deepen the tour outside the Basilica, up to the rear wall where, in the place of impact, there is the plaque dedicated to the Grande Torino whose plane, returning from a trip to Portugal, crashed on 04 May 1949. This is a place of "pilgrimage" not only of the fans of the Bull, but of all the fans, the teams, the common people who come to Turin and go up to pay homage to a team that was not only considered unbeatable worldwide, but that at the time it represented a symbol of rebirth for Italians after the war.
Possibility of lunch or aperitif of your choice, optional, for a fee

Meet your host, Angela

Graduated Technical-Tourist Expert in Genoa, I had the opportunity to apply my studies and my passion working in the tourism-hotel field and, for more than 20 years, in a Turin Tour Operator.
I gained several experiences organizing, planning trips and excursions mainly abroad.
My particular enthusiasm in this activity has never died out over the years but has become a real mission.
Today I would like to create a narrative made of original testimonies that tell the tradition, the quality, the values of the land rich in tradition in which I have lived for more than 35 years. Hence the idea of proposing an experience in the symbolic places of Torino Calcio's past, which are also the history of the city and of post-war Italy.
