This was just the kind of tour I hoped for, and so much more. Pook was a very kind, well-organized, intelligent, and knowledgeable host with a deep understanding of food and history. The tour felt personal and small-scale, taking us to markets that are visited by locals. The merchants knew Pook, which helped us interact with them. The tour was well balanced between trying lots of delicious food, visiting temples, seeing beautiful flowers, and enjoying a boat ride. Absolutely lovely and good for both the soul and the belly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to avoid the crowds and experience something authentic and local.

Pook was amazing! everything about this tour was SO well organized and extremely unique. It ended up being a private tour with myself and my partner and it was his first time in Thailand. Pook was very accommodating and responsive with clear instructions on where to meet. The tour was impeccably well planned and even our dietary requirements were accommodated without any hesitation. I especially loved that Pook brought us to a more local market where we got to experience the local flavours without all the tourist traps. She also gave us a cultural experience through a temple that was next to the market explaining more about the infusion or culture and religion and what each ritual meant. Could not have asked for a better guide.

We had an amazing time with Pook during our swimming market tour! From the pick up until the last minute of the tour we felt very well taken care of and got amazing insights into Thai culture and food. We enjoyed the food offered at the market a lot and had the chance to try different snacks after the 4-course meal we were served at the start. So, come hungry! Fully recommend the tour :)
