What you'll do

You'll arrive at our farm where you will be greeted by Farmer Emma and her team, you will then walk through the barn where have animals wanting a cuddle. You will go up into the shop where we will have a brief health and safety chat, you will then receive your bag of feed for your alpaca and we will head into the field to meet all of our trekking boys.
Once you have chosen your Alpaca and had a stroke of their super soft fleeces, we will walk around and up the field through our paddocks where we have other sheep and alpacas. With stunning views of Bodmin moor and our animals you will spend approx 1 hour walking around the fields where we will feed, and take photos.
Once back down in the shop you will have your Cornish Cream tea, all made with Cornish products. You will be able to ask questions and mooch around our shop and see all our lovely quality made products.

We hope to see you on the rolling hills of Bodmin Moor soon.

Hi I'm Farmer Emma, I run Moor view Alpacas in Cornwall, where we raise Alpacas and rare breed sheep. We have been here for over 8 years and I have a wide knowledge of raising these beautiful creatures. With a huge amount of awards for showing the sheep, and being in various TV shows talking about my expertise we have become one of peoples go to experts for information on running a smallholding.

With this experience taking our Alpacas on a trek you can have a insight into our beautiful farm, walking through the fields of sheep with views across Bodmin moor, its the perfect way to spend a couple of hours. We also provide a Cornish cream tea at the end of the trek which is the perfect way to finish your experience. With ample opportunity to ask questions and get to know the alpacas who all have their own personality.

We had a fantastic morning with the alpacas! Emma and Nayasha made everything really clear and were so welcoming. They know the alpacas so well, which meant anyone who was a bit nervous was able to walk with a more confident alpaca, and they knew exactly which places might cause problems or make them hungry! We had a fantastic time, learnt a lot and really enjoyed ourselves. Would 100% recommend. Make sure you're in your waterproof shoes!

This was a magical experience for me and my daughter, despite the weather. Emma and the team were really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and made this a very personal experience. All the Alpacas had their own individual personalities and we fell in love with our Alpaca, Christopher.

We went alpaca trekking as an activity for our Devon break away. It was fab! We all loved it! (Family of 4 with kids aged 11 and 17). Great fun and a really unusual thing to do. Cream tea was fab, although we took it home as had just had lunch! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area and can do it rain or shine! 🦙🦙🦙
