What you'll do

For Argentines, Asado is more than a frequent meal, it is a cultural symbol that crosses us as society. The Asado gathers families, friends, is an excuse to share around the fire, a ritual. We learned to make Asado by our parents, who in turn were instructed by their parents. This tradition is transmitted through the generations, each Argentine family has its own way of doing it and it is our goal to transmit you much more than a recipe, we want you to know about our passion. You will learn about the history of this meal in an intimate and familiar atmosphere, at Casa delaChi. In addition you will learn to make traditional meat empanadas with our own family recipe, salads and typical desserts. We will also make a tasting of 3 wines with which you can taste and notice the typical characteristics of our most famous wine valleys (Luján, Uco and Maipú). The night will end in the only way possible, with everyone sitting at the table tasting the delights we have just prepared and drinking some of the best wines of Mendoza.
Other things to note
Bring a lot of hunger and desire to learn about our culture. About our passion to share.

Born and raised in Mendoza, the capital of the sun and good wine. Father of a beautiful son, Domingo. What I like most in the world is eating. :) I enjoy my free time listening to music, playing sports, walking around the city, always with friends and family. I work independently in management and development of cultural projects. I have accommodations and experiences on Airbnb. I also work in gastronomy, I am an amateur chef and I have a hamburger shop called Bairoletto, a catering service company for events. I am currently working to open a Napoletana Pizzeria in the city of Mendoza.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. Boris, Sebastian, Agustín and Itziar made us feel at home. They taught us about the Argentine culture while we learned how to cook Asado, empanadas, salads and desserts typical of Argentina. We also taste amazing Mendoza wines. I had tours around the world and rarely have felt so comfortable. If you are in Mendoza you cant miss this experience.
