What we’ll do

Experience the magic of Knicker Knob Stable! Kids (or adults alike) have the opportunity to groom one of our wonderful lesson horses under the array of lights in the barn. Bonus: Each kid will receive a photo of them with all the lesson horses. This experience is great for the whole family!

What else you should know

Please wear clothes that allow for comfortable movement. Be mindful of being in a ranch environment with animals and mud/dust etc. Wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty!

Where you'll be

Knicker Knob Stable is a working equestrian facility in Loomis, CA. A historic boarding barn built in 1963 by local horsewoman Theresa Haney, Knicker Knob houses 30+ horses, cats & dogs, embodying a true ranch experience with ample amount of country charm. Knicker Knob is within walking distance to Folsom Lake and its extensive network of trails. The trail system connects to the famous Western States Trail with views of the America River.

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 8 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age. No horse experience required.
