Giving and getting at the same time. We were able to give some much deserved TLC and companionship to the dogs that are up for adoption all while seeing some great sites around the Papago park area. Hike was easy and great scenery. They definitely have a passion for what they do and are doing a wonderful job helping people and animals alike. The dogs were a blast to watch on our hike. You can tell how much they like being outdoors and walking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning hike with two lovely shelter dogs (Elliott and Rosie) and got to see some scenery up close that we hadn't planned to stop at. The stories that Jodielou and Wally told along the way were insightful. We hope the dogs enjoyed their hike as much as we did.

It was really interesting to tour the facility before the hike to learn about the cats and dogs currently staying there and the varieties of ways they are cared for and prepared for adoption. The facility is clean, well organized, and set up to meet the needs of the animals. The hike was a special and totally unique experience for both people and dogs, at beautiful Hole in the Rock-Papago Park. We enjoyed the dogs, as did the people we encountered at the park. The whole experience was amazing!

Super fun if you’re a dog lover. Everyone “wins” by getting fresh air and exercise. My dog, Bluebell, was sad and depressed since her owner had died. But she perked up when we convinced her to go on a walk. Highly recommend.
