What you'll do

Guadalajara is a big city and it can become overwhelming choosing the best places to eat and see but no need to worry, we'll introduce you to all the hidden places that locals know. We will also meet local cooks and have a catered meal prepared outside of their menu for an explosion of your tastebuds. Additional to that, we will visit old mansions that few can access where we will have amazing views of the city.
Other things to note

- Have comfortable walking shoes
- Do not bring lot of cash with you or expensive jewelry.

We enjoy showing people around Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque and help them find the best spots where they can discover amazing flavors and art. We have been doing this for four years and have made a lot of great friendships along the way. Our main focus is Mexican cuisine and with us, you will be able to dissect a dish and become an expert yourself.

Where you'll be

We will meet at the Garden of Aranzazu and from there we will head to one of the oldest neighborhoods to enjoy a great goat stew. After that, we will enjoy the best fish and shrimp tacos you can find outside of Baja and explore the old French mansions. Afterward, we will get our goosebumps by visiting a former and haunted military base for the city. From there we will continue tasting the amazing regional dishes while learning its history.

Great food. Left feeling satisfied and very full. Great food selections. My favorite was the Birria. Loved walking around and getting the history of the city and enjoying some amazing food.

My tour guide was Juan. He was a great guide and told me about the history of the area while we stopped for food. Juan also pointed out places to get Mexican candy and a chocolate shop after I expressed an interest. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

Nice tour of the Guadalajaran must-try foods. Guide was knowledgeable about food and the city, and included information on history, buildings, etc as well walked around.

This is a great way to see a few of the highlights of Guadalajara while eating some of its most popular dishes. Come hungry and pace yourself! There's a good deal of pretty heavy food. Would recommend if you have a few extra hours.

My guide Ivan was so lovely and personable. I came late because of an issue with my Airbnb and he even helped me solve it at the start of the tour. Had really delicious birria, torta loca, torta ahogado and learned about the history of the markets, churches and squares and general history of Guadalajara. I found out really interesting details of buildings and statues that I never would’ve known!
