What you'll do

Together we will explore the beautiful city of San Francisco, North Waterfront, Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito.
Our daily guided tour begins in Fisherman’s Wharf.

The bike tour, starts in Fisherman’s Wharf, one of the only active wharves left in the United States. We will ride along the cobblestone streets, past all of the shops and restaurants in the area. As you ride, to your left you can see Ghirardelli Square and majestic views of the San Francisco skyline.
This tour takes you from Fisherman’s Wharf to Marina Green and Crissy Field, with lots of stops along the way to learn about each culturally diverse neighborhood and historic landmark.
As you make your way up to the Golden Gate Bridge, you can smell the Eucalyptus and see picturesque bay views. With one last stop just before the Golden Gate Bridge riders are left to cross at their own pace, riding single file along the side-walked bike path on the bridge.
Once over the bridge, this up to 3-hour guided tour continues down into Sausalito, where it concludes. Our daily guided tour includes an up-to 24 hour bike rental, so riders can keep the bike for up to 24 hours from when the tour starts.

It was a great experience and lovely views. Easy ride for average healthy people. Beware that the tour is a one way, starting in SF and ending in Sausalito; you have the option to go back on the ferry or leave the bikes at Sausalito but you have to pay and extra $15 for these options. If you dont want to pay you can bike back 3 hours! The bikes and the guide where great, really good bikes and really awesome guide with lots of fun facts and took great photos of us.

Highly recommend. Even for a novice rider, JP did a phenomenal job gaging group experience and taking breaks when needed. JP was an amazing host who had great stories and history along the way. Great stops for picture taking. Awesome workout without feeling exhausted. Tour ends in Sausalito which gave us time to walk around and see the beautiful sites.

Great bike tour! Note that the fee includes rental of a regular bike, SF is very hilly and paying an extra $35 will give you the option of renting an electric bike in case you’re not in good shape or don’t wish to get extra tired. Tour guide was knowledgeable and provided a safe and overall great experience.

Golden Gate Bike Tour was an awesome experience. A few big hills, but otherwise pretty easy going with plenty of stops for story-telling and pictures. Our tour guide, Blake, even offered to take pictures which was nice! Lots of awesome views!!!

It’s breathtaking crossing the bridge and it was great having an insightful guide. I would recommend the hosts offer rides for beginner bikers vs intermediate bikers. The ride can be challenging, especially when crossing the bridge which has some very narrow areas. Pairing together intermediate bikers who want to keep it moving with beginner bikers who need a more measured pace isn’t the best way to go, especially with a group of 10.
