What you'll do

Meet up with me at the southern tip of Lover's Key to launch your paddle board tour at beautiful Dog Beach. This is a semi-private paddle board, picnic and play adventure* paddling quiet bays & sandy beach areas. We start with safety tips, sizing your paddle and learn the best way to get on a board. We'll get comfortable on the boards and paddle the gulf inlet to quiet remote areas, where power boats are not allowed. We will explore the mangrove bays of Lover's Key. It's like Gilligan said "the 3 hour tour". You may see sea birds, live shells, sea urchins, sand dollars, dolphin and of course dogs at play & if we are lucky the elusive Manatee. We will picnic on a private beach or bay. If you wish we can stop at Dog Beach, sit on the boards visiting and visit the dogs before returning to our launch point. I will photograph your adventure, text a few pictures right away sending the rest in a day or two once I have had time to upload them from my camera. You will leave with skills prepared to paddle board another adventure.

*This adventure involves some inherent risk & physical exertion, so you must be in good physical condition without any recent surgery, heart condition, disability or injury. You should know how to swim, (or wear a life vest if you do not) & feel comfortable in water. We cannot guarantee you will not fall off the board.

I founded Sea Dog Eco Tours in Fort Myers Beach because I am passionate about hosting the kind of water adventure I would enjoy. What does that mean for you? It means I can manage the tides and navigation for you as well as help you get comfortable with paddle boarding as we soak up the sun and get closer to nature. We will explore the beautiful beaches and bays in search of sea creatures while immersing ourselves in the experience. I have been sailing most of my life and fell in love with paddle boarding in 2011. I'm a certified paddle board instructor with PaddleFit & the World Paddle Association including SUP Yoga. I moved to Florida and from Michigan, where I co-owned an Outfitters shop with tours because I wanted to full-fill my dream of living on a sailboat where I can paddle board everyday.

This was a great experience. Sheree knew a lot of information and taught us how to ride against tide. We went through little islands and saw sea animals. The picnic was cute and delicious. It was overall a very enjoyable time.
