What you'll do

Hop aboard our weather-resistant electric vehicle across the street from the L'Enfant Metro station at 7th and Maryland SW! We'll hit the National Mall in style while we discuss the founding of Washington, D.C. and drive past the museums of the Smithsonian Institution. You'll get fantastic views of the two bookends on the "original" National Mall - the Capitol Building and Washington Monument. We'll circle the Tidal Basin - you may see the famous cherry blossom trees blooming in early spring! - as we see the Jefferson Memorial en route to our first hop-off stops. You'll have about ten minutes apiece to stroll through the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. Then you're off past the World War II Memorial and onto the famed steps of the Lincoln Memorial. You'll have about 30 minutes to explore this iconic memorial, along with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Korean War Veterans Memorial. From here, we'll finish our experience with a drive past the home of every American president since John Adams - the White House! After the tour, you can choose to depart at the White House, the tour starting point, or request a drop-off at points in-between.
Other things to note
Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather, as much of the tour takes place outdoors.

Alex is studying history and had thorough knowledge of all visited locations. Our group had family with young kids and he was very patient. He added couple interesting stories about some historical events that made the tour memorable. We had only half a day time in DC and this tour was perfect for us. Thank you.

Great tour! (Even though it was pouring down rain) Our guide was knowledgeable, accommodating, and funny. Would like to do this again when the weather is better!

Our guide who I believe was Peter gave a safe and wonderful tour and we couldn't be happier with the experience. He really knows the history, as well as the personal stories of the people of Washington. This is so much more than just seeing the monuments, and walking yourself to death in the heat. I was born and grew-up in this town but left in 1970. Believe me, this is of great value.

This tour was wonderful! Getting up close and personal with all the major attractions in DC all while being driven around by your own personal tour guide. It was a great experience and we learned a lot. Our tour guide even went the extra mile to bring us ponchos and a treat for our puppy who unfortunately didn’t make the trip but non the less it was appreciated!
