We came not expecting it to be a nude figure drawing class, but rather clothed dancers (our fault for not looking closely at the photos). Nevertheless, it was a great time and we got some good art to take home out of it. The host spoke both Spanish and English, which was helpful. You get a few minutes to do the first few poses as a warm up. Then you increasingly get 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 minutes. It’s not instructed, so I thought my art would come out terribly, but the poses with more time came out very well. The host refilled our wine frequently and provided us papers and drawing materials. There are also local artists attending the workshop and it was very inspiring to see their work and how they interpreted the poses onto the paper. Such a unique experience for our trip and it has inspired us to take more figure drawing classes at home.
